You can count on running into obstacles as you move toward achieving your goals. Part of the process of growing is making mistakes and running into the unexpected. You will meet obstacles so you must have a plan for how you will overcome all challenges.
Strategy and Planning
To be effective and to succeed in your business and marketing, you must have a plan. Business owners do not plan to fail but they do fail to plan and that failure leads to business failure. If you have a great plan and apply strong strategies then your business will succeed.
Focus on the Client
You business is not about you and what you do. It is about how you help and serve others. Focus on what you do to help others overcome their challenges, make changes, and reach their goals.
Attract Don’t Sell
Old school push marketing or telling customers what they want is dead and does not work. Today you have to invite your customers to look at what you have to offer and see if it is for them. Be a giver and a teacher first if you want to be successful at marketing coaching on the internet. Let people get to know, like and trust you by sampling your coaching knowledge, skills, and style.
Buying is a Process not an Event
The buying cycle is a longer for coaching for several reasons. Coaching is a private and personal process so trust must be built between the coach and the client. Coaching is a large financial commitment and coaching is a large time commitment. A client must be ready to invest a lot of time, money and emotion in coaching and that decision can take time.
Make Your Business Stand Out
Dare to be different. The easiest way to stand out and be different is to differentiate your product. Take a look at what all the other coaches in your niche are doing and what they are not doing. Find something you can add to your coaching or something that you can do different than others so your coaching business will stand out from the rest.
